Hiroshima Shrine Survives Atomic Bomb but NOT Fire
Sixty two years agao the Nihohime Shrine in Hiroshima's Minami-ku survived the atomic bomb…just 2.2 miles from ground zero.
When those near the shrine lost their homes, they came to the main hall of the shrine which had been tilted by the blast….but still standing.
However, in the middle of last night (1:30amish) the place caught fire and burned down….cause unknown.
One of the priests said, "When I was woken up by the sounds of a fire engine, the
sky was red."
Yup…that's pretty much what they were saying in Hiroshima some 62 years ago.
What's the worst tragedy you have ever experienced?

The worst tragedy is this news because it was my family’s relative’s shrine. It affects my heart deeply.
