
AutoAlliance Thailand, a joint venture between Ford Motor Co and Mazda Motor Ltd is planning to invest $548 million to expand production in Thailand.
The expansion is expected to add 100,000 cars a year to production capacity for both Thailand's domestic and export market.
Ford Asia Pacific told Dow Jonese that Ford is in discussions with the Thai government about expansion.
Earlier in the year, Ford said it had a $1 billion small-car production facility planned for Asia with Thailand as one of the candidates....![]()
