Engineers Top Choices of Places to Work in Japan
When it comes to where an engineer would like to work, I would have put all of my money on Toyota….and lost.
The top choice - Honda Motor Co. which barely beat out Toyota Motor Corp - 31.8% - 31.4% respectively.
Honda's big appeals were
1. emphasizing R&D activity
2. offering bigger chances to demonstrate technological prowess
Toyota scored highest in:
1. reliabilty
2. stability
Nintendo was sixth.
Murata Mfg was eighth.
Toshiba was 10th.
Nikkei HR received input from 446 hardware engineers.
