Children vs. 747 Jumbo Jet - Why Children Need Parents

by BBelew57 on September 23rd, 2007

The children in Japan are tough dudes….strong, too.

Schoolchildren played tug-of-war with a jumbo jet at Narita airport.

Some 180 elementary school children pulled on three ropes. The Boeing 747-400F jumbo jet just sat there.

However, after 300 parents joined in, the group moved the aircraft for about 30 meters.

September 20th was Day of the Sky. It was designated as such in 1992, the 40thjapan.tug.of.war.jpg anniversary of the the resumption of Japan's civial aviation ..which had been suspended since Japan's in WWII.

Perhaps more importantly, 180 some kids learned just how much more pull they can have if they let their parents support them, no?
