Restaurant Food Nutritional Content Available on New Web Site
I might get in trouble here, but…my experience is that people who generally eat at fast food restaurants aren't bright enough to go online, search and find something intelligible and/or don't care if they do find something there…especially if the site has something bad to say about their Big Mac.
A coupon? Watch out.
Too many calories, too much fat. Uh, what's a calorie? Fat? Ho ho ho.
Kenko-Plus, Inc. will develop a restaurant search
site that will enable diners (the eaters) to look up calories and nutrients on menu items.
"Do you want alfredo fettucini or filet mignon?"
"I'm sorry. How do you say that in Japanese?"
Restaurants that choose to participate will send in data on ingredients, cooking techniques and additives.
The site will show:
1. calorie count
2. nutrient content
3. give printable coupons.
Be sure to take your printer with you when you go to Mr. Donuts.
There will a basic fee of 2,000-3,000 ($18-26) month to use the service.
Gee, eating healthy and eating out just got a little bit more expensive.
Why is it that eating right always has to cost more?
