Microsoft Japan Predicts 50% of Japanese PCs to have Vista OS
Microsoft Japan is predicting that 50% of Japanese PCs will have the Vista operating system within 2-3 years.
Microsoft is basing the prediction mainly on annual sales of Vista-installed PCs…meaning that within 2-3 years, 50% of PC users in Japan will buy a new computer.

I have not used the Vista OS yet. I have been advised to wait a year or so until all the user discovered bugs are worked out.
The very first PC I ever had was purchased in Japan.
My experience with operating systems written/modified by Japanese for Japanese computers has been great. My NEC never, ever, crapped out on me for no reason.
My IBM Thinkpad…all the time…Dell Inspiron…same.
Gee, I wish I had a computer with a Japanese OS in it.
