Germany's BMW AG is planning to open high-performance service centers that will operate more efficiently and shorten customer waiting times in Japan.
Large cities, presumably where there are fewer cars, will get the service centers first. After which, BMW will expand to outlets nationwide.
Service centers will have advanced information systems, lounges and
designed to have less environmental impact.Perhaps BMW should consider putting the service centers where most of their 49,014 cars were sold in 2006.![]()
Better yet...how about making the cars so they don't need repair service?
Oil changes? Nobody goes to a dealer for that, do they?
