$700 million Wanted to Fight Global Warming Monster
Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Minister wants $700 million to fight the global warming monster that Newsweek is saying might not even be there…kind of like the boogey man…or the creature outside your bedroom window….or the creep in the closet.
I wish someone would give me $700 million to play with, er, to fight imaginary monsters with.
The Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry wants to
develop a technology to store carbon dioxide under the sea floor.
Yeah, let the fish worry about it.
If the sea floor is not deep enough to bury CO2 in, then it is shallow enough to cause problems to sea life, no?
PM Abe wants to reduce global greenhouse emissions in Japan by half by 2050.
With the number of people in Japan's population decreasing, that might not be a problem AND the country could save $700 million.
What global warming?

It’s true scientists can not agree that global warming is a real phenomenon but regardless our industrilization of the earth has caused some serious unforeseen environmental consequences. I tend to believe that global warming is real, especially after doing some research on it myself and seeing Al Gore’s pictures of deteriorating polar ice caps all over the world.
