
I guess now we know the limit on Japanese quality....30 years.
Sanyo Electric Co. is asking customers to stop using their company's electric fans that are more than 30 years old.
Last week two people were killed by a fire caused by a fan.
"'We take this matter seriously and in order to prevent further similar cases, we'll ask customers to stop using fans made more than three decades ago,' the firm said in a statement."
