Pepsi Cucumber Hits Japanese Stores
This news will get your mouth to watering.
It is said that Japan takes the best the world has to offer and then makes it her own.
Well, now she's done it…taken the Pepsi challenge. That is, Japan has come up
with cucumber-flavored Pepsi Cola.
Pepsi Ice Cucumber
Uh…does cucumber even have a taste?
The drink doesn't even have cucumber in it, but has artificially flavored to resemble "the refreshing taste of a fresh cucumber."
Again…what does a cucumber taste like?
The drink will only be on sale during the summer months and Suntory hopes to sell about 200,000 cases of the stuff. Not to me they won't. But, then I don't drink the regular Pepsi either.
With sales of 20.5 million cases of Pepsi brand drinks, Pepsi has about 15% of the Japanese cola market with stiff competition from Coca Col, green tea and coffee.
Does cucumber soda sound appealing to you?
