Japanese Policeman Stabs Self to Get Out Of Work
Well, here's a, um, professional that you won't want to have speak at career day at school.
A Japanese policeman, apparently fed up with working long hours and weekends, stabbed himself with a knife to get out of work.
On top of that, he conjured up a story that he had been attacked and consequently an attempted murder investigation was launched.
No suspects and the cop waiting for an hour led the investigators to become suspicious. 
A police spokesman said about the omawarisan, "He became very busy, he felt like he couldn't handle the work he had to do, and he felt the work was weighing him down."
The officer had been in charge of a disaster relief detail following a March 25th earthquake in Ishikawa.
