Honda SUV-Sized Vehicle that Gets 1300 Miles Before Refueling Will Happen in NC
I wrote a year ago that Honda will Make an SUV sized vehicle that goes 1300 Miles without refueling.
Construction began today on the factory that will produce the vehicle in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Honda will build a ultra efficient jet that goes 1300 miles between fill ups. It carries 6-8 passengers - 8 Japanese and 6, sometimes 5 or 4 Americans.
The factory will be open by 2009 and the HondaJets will be delivered by 2010.
The company already has more than 100 orders for the $3.65 million HondaJet.
The aircraft facilities will invest about $100 million
in the facilities….but…the company will make $365 after filling the first batch of orders.
Sounds like good business to me.
