Bicycle Stolen Three Times - Twice as Police ‘Watched On”
Just how good are Japanese police?
A 21-year old female university student had her bicycle stolen.
The police found it.
"Thank, guys!"
Enter a high ranking officer…
"Ask the girl to let us use the bike to see if we can catch they guy."
—
"Hey, how about letting us borrow your bike to see if we can catch the guy?"
"Well, uh…okay, I guess."
So…the police put the bike back where it was stolen the first time.
—
But…our super-efficient at finding things police force finds it again.
"Thanks, guys!"
—
"Can we borrow it one more time? This time we will get him
for sure."
"Uh, gee, …uh…well, I guess."
—
Bike gets stolen AGAIN! And is still missing.
—
When the officers found it the second time, they left it at the scene.
It seems that there were not enough manpower to keep watch over the bike at night.…they said. It was stolen around 11pm. Lemme see…when would something most likely be stolen? In broad daylight, of course.
—
However, the third time it was stolen - 9AM!
—
Don't we feel good now, knowing that Japanese police might be able to find a stolen bicycle two out of three times?
