I am going to try something here at RisingSunOfNihon that I hope readers will enjoy and, of course, also attract new readers to the site.
Kan Shinoy is the pen name of the person who has created Ello Bello, a Japanese/English Online Manga. The story and artwork are done by the same person (not me!). This will become more evident as the story develops.
Without giving away too much...it involves a high school Japanese Band that has a foreign exchange student join their group.
A 3-in-1 Manga
The dialogs will be in Japanese or English, depending on who is talking and translations will be provided. Consequently -
1. If the student of Japanese knows katakana and hiragana and basic grammar they will be able to read (furigana is used), understand and learn.
2. If the student of English knows his/her alphabet, and baisc grammar, study is possible in that direction as well.
3. Hopefully, the reader will also enjoy the story. the culture clashes, the insights that Kan Shinoy has.
The Manga will appear here at RSON every other day...Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Interested readers are encouraged to subscribe. I will not split the post so there will be no need to click through.
