    Bill, one thing that freaked me out a while back is kind of related to this obliquely. One reason for ALTs to be wary of posting photos of their students without permission (similar to needing a media waiver in the states) is that there are creeps out there who photoshop young girls’ faces into child pornography. This begs the question – if a computer generated it from scratch, is it still child pornography? In other words, if the child is not real, is it still child pornography? Also, if they take a picture of an 18 year old and then photoshop her to look younger (a very common practice for celebrities just taken to a different level), is that still child pornography? CG. Retrogressive porn. This is a really fuzzy subject. I thought I’d tangentially mention it – because I for one am kind of bothered by U-15s and T-Back idols. In my book, it’s closer to child pornography than anything else. My two cents.
