I am not sure curvier is a word. I guess if a person was fat enough and developed layers, they would be curvier, or at least bumpier.

Japanese girls are bigger, breastier, smaller and more shapely than they used to be says a report in the Wall Street Journal.

It's been a while since I was in Japan, but if someone wants to give me a measuring tape and ask a control group to strip down so I can do some measuring and comparing, well, I am definitely game.

Wacoal Corp is Japan's largest undies maker, er, lingerie company. They sell super-padded bras...but not as many as before. Moms need them, not because they are sagging, but because they just don't have it upstairs.

Girls these days, according to the maker, have 35 inch hips, on average and boobs needing bras two sizes larger. Instead of AAA, they wear A.  

Waist size has gotten smaller = Japanese girls are curvier than before.

Japanese 20-year olds are also three inches taller than their moms, born in 1950...and shoe sizes are a quarter of inch larger.

The reasons, according to a professor of endocrinology at Showa Pharmaceutical University - more protein and calcium from red meat, Krispy Kreme and Cold Stone Creamery.

Uh...I dunno about this.

But, I do know that I want the job with the tape measure and the control group of naked girls.
