Hong Kong and Tokyo Police Bust Five Chinese for Possessing Drugs in Japan
Japan doesn't have a big drug problem….yet.
The Metropolitan Police Department received a tip from Hong Kong police that a group of Chinese nationals, one from Hong Kong, were visiting Japan to sell stimulants in Shinjuku.
When following up, the MPD caught five Chinese in possession of 51.4 kilograms (113lbs) with a value of 3 billion yen ($25 million).
I am not a drug dealer, but from a business perspective, that seems to be an awful lot of drugs in one place under the control of so few people.![]()
But then, nobody ever accused pot heads of being brilliant, did they?
It's good to have more drug pushers behind bars. Keep 'em there.
