Honda Plans to Sell Hydrogen Car Next Year (cool pix)

Honda has two current-generation FCXs that have been leased to ordinary customers, well kinda ordinary.

One belongs to a suburban family and the other to a 17-year old actress, Q'orianka Kilcher.

Honda wants to lease more in some quantity next year…how many? Honda is not saying.

Honda is losing money by collecting $500/month on the two $1 million units currently being leased.

GM plans to lease 100 hydrogen fuel cell powered Chevy Equinoxes later this year….for free.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My money is on Honda…and, dang, I wish there were a hydrogen fuel station around here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Honda will only lease them in areas where fueling stations are already in place.
