Death Defying Rollercoast Ride Does NOT Defy Death
A woman's seat went flying off the roller coaster she was riding on causing her to fall to her death.
So much for death defying rides being death defying, eh?
Some 40 other people were hurt, including two whose seats also came off. 31 of them were rushed to a hospital.
The roller coaster's speed reached 75kph (47mph) on a 1,050km (.75 mile) course and went to heights of 40 meters (120')…
Well…at least it used to.
"It's fixed!" Would you like to be the first one on the first ride after the roller coaster operators say, "It's fixed!!"

When I was 10, I was a couple stories in the air on a high-speed spinning carnival ride when the side of my car flew off. That panel was the main thing holding me in, and it was all I could do to cling to my wobbly lap bar for dear life while the forces of the ride’s movement threatened to toss me out at any moment. It was probably less than 15 seconds before the operator got the ride stopped, but it was the longest 15 seconds of my life. Fortunately no one was injured when the panel flew off, and except for some sore arms and soiled pants, I was okay.
That should probably have been my last carnival or amusement park ride, but I still enjoy them from time to time, always figuring the car drive to and fro is more risky than most rides.
