A married couple, 38 and 32-years old set up a web site in July 2000. On the site, the couple placed images of themselves having sex.
The couple required those who accessed the site to pay a membership fee of between 4,200 yen to 13,000 yen depending on how long the user stayed online.
2,000 members across Japan joined. Fast forward 7 years...the couple made 200 million yen (abt $1.7 million)...selling themselves doing the dirty.
Police finally caught up with them and they have been arrested for displaying obscene images.
And the reason why other porn sites can operate freely is?
And celebs can get their sex videos distributed freely?
And R- and X-rated films are sold?
It seems like a serious contradiction to me.
