Domestic Auto Sales Down for 20th Consecutive Month
One more quarter of declines in domestic auto sales and Japan will have two years running of downed sales of new cars, trucks and buses.
In February, sales were down 8.7% to 322,446 vehicles. The number is determined by the registration of vehicles with the government.
The numbers are also the first consumer spending numbers released each month and sets a tone for the Japanese mindset on spending and to confuse economists.
Cars are not the only quality product that Japan produces and the world wants.
Japan's big three continue to grow on the strength of overseas sales…and will continue to grow for some time to come.
Are you thinking about buying a Japanese car?
