One company, Persona Tech Inc., is hiring Indian Information Technology engineers to go along with its ranks of Chinese engineers to try and fill the gap.
The company offers four months of Japanese language, business culture and general culture training....then places them in automobile, electronics and IT companies for one to three years.
Yet, another company is adding Vietnamese to its hires to go along with the Chinese engineers it has already hired.
Ultimately, these trained workers, with experience in Japan, will be able to work in executive positions at Japanese branches in their home companies.
Good plan....
Very much like Japan to take a long range view of things.
