Top Ten Profitable Companies in the World

This list might be a bit old - compiled by the 2006 Asahi Nenkan, but what strikes me is that there is a Japanese car company that made the top ten list of most profitable companies in the world.

Here's the list -

1. Exxon Mobile

2. Royal Dutch Shell

3. Citigroup

4. General Electric USA

5. BP (UK)

6. Bank of America

7. Chevron Texaco

8. Pfizer

9. TOYOTA MOTOR

10. American International Group

I'd be quite interested to see a more up to date list if one is available. Toyota was hot on the heals of Pfizer (USA).

Remember when people laughed at things 'made in Japan?' Not any more.

Is anyone laughing at cars 'made in China?' Wait about 30 years….the laughing will die down.
