
Japan's number one online shopping portal plans to bring its business to the U.S.
Rakuten (easy shopping) boasts an estimated 18 million shoppers in finicky Japan.
If they company can get that many picky Japanese to shop, much
Tokyo-based Rakuten also has its eyes on Europe and China.
Growing is what companies do...but I often wonder why would a company want to go somewhere and do something that someone is already doing.
Do they really want to make more money that badly?
In any event...competition is good for the consumer.

I think it will good for the consumer when the Japanese store hits the US.
