Two girls seemed to be too good at running up a bill. In one case they couldn't pay it.
When the bar tender said he would get the money from their parents, they begged him not to.
Consequently the bar owner put them to work at a massage parlor and soapland to pay off their debts.
Bigger problem...the girls were both under 18.
Turns out the guy was guilty of forcing minors into white slavery.
When his case came up, the judge added abetting prostitution of a minor, and coercion to perfrom illegal acts for the purpose of child pornography...the first such individual to be prosecuted as such.
Instead of one year imprisonment deferred for three years...the idiot went to the pokey for three years.
Next time you are in a bar in Japan, and a pretty little thing comes to sit next to you, make sure you know who is going to pay the tab....and if it's her, you'd better make double sure.
