The cars that are being recalled were manufactured between Dec. 1997 and Nov. 2000.
Apparently two people left their car running while parked and a problem with the engine's computer control system caused a fire.
Nobody was hurt, except Toyota's pride.
Toyota has produced some 50-60 million cars since 1997. 54,000 is about one-tenth of one percent of those cars...and only 2 of those caused a problem.
Yep...seems like Toyota's quality won't take too much of a hit.
