Toyota has one plant in India which produces 44,500 units. They have one plant in Brazil producing 57,800 units. One plant will open in Russia next year and produce 50,000 units.
Toyota already has five plants in China churning out 443,000 units and a sixth plant will open next year.
Toyota is planning a low-cost "family compact" and a new factory in India as early as 2009.
The President of Toyota says the company is hiring - 8,000 more engineers by 2010.
And and and....Toyota has big plans to take the top spot. Toyota has the means to take the top spot. Toyota will eventually become number one in the world.
